One Piece is in: Jumpsuits and Playsuits it is!

One-piece wardrobes are “in” again! And those are overalls, jumpsuits, playsuits and rompers. Like bell bottoms and flared jeans they are resurrected in the fashion world!

Evening: a new take on relaxed glamour, no-one has nailed this quite like Alber Elbaz for Lanvin. Single-shouldered and sequin covered jumpsuits were a striking alternative to the traditional evening dress.
Tailored: smart and sophisticated, a tailored playsuit can be office-ready as well as dressed up for day or night. Look for crisper fabrics, cuffed shorts, and cinched in waists - a la Karl Lagerfeld.
Loose and flowing: the perfect take for Spring/Summer, this look has a dash of hippy - working best when combined with soft floral prints. Fabrics should be free-flowing, legs wide and long. The likes of Roberto Cavalli and Etro produced the perfect examples.
Sporty: Julien MacDonald, Lacoste and Walter all took sportier options, in line with S/S '10'ssports trend; from hoods and zips to simple cotton jersey fabrics.
Basic: while some designers have gone for prints and intricate detailing, the likes of Stella McCartney and Givenchy presented the ideal basic options. A more versatile wardrobe staple, go for black, white or nude colours and simple straight cuts.

How must you wear them?
-          For a bombshell silhouette look for a pear shaped figure, one must wear a halter styled jumpsuit or playsuit and be sure to belt it firmly.
-          For night time opt for luxurious fabrics like silks; details like sequins or sheer panels; or leather for an edgier look.

Stripes is in! Navy stripes it is!

In 2011, it's the classic navy and white colour palette, worn as dominant stripes.

Note that I didn't say bold stripes, but dominant stripes. While navy and white stripes are a must for the look (though black and white can also work in 2011), the real key to Summer's take on nautical stripes is that they dominate the outfit. While they do so in the below look easily (though the plum Doc Martens still seem somewhat heavy), in other outfits it's about drawing attention to the stripes above all else in the outfit.

Stripes is in! Yes that’s true! But however they are not bold stripes but dominant stripes! The must have stripes are those in navy and white (but black and white is also an option). The real key to this “is that nautical stripes dominate the outfit”

Stripes can work not only with clothes  but also with accessories, like hats, purse and the like (but please don’t wear them at the same time or else you’ll end up like a zebra in the zoo)
A stripe top can also be worn with a bell bottom jeans to project a more authentic sailor look!

Capri Pants on 2011

Capri pant is the best alternative this 2011 for those who are into skinny jeans and bell bottoms pants.  This p[ants are slim cut yet not so skin tight. The good things about these is that you can wear these with flats!

There are several different cuts to the capri pant in 2011:
·                                 Pants that are cropped only ever so slightly, to sit just above the ankle.
·                                 More traditional capri pants cut three-quarter, though in 2011 we're seeing more cut just below the calf than ones that are mid-calf.
·                                 Slim-cut pants that are rolled up to sit above the ankle (a great alternative if you want to give a fresh take to some of your skinnies rather than invest in specifically cropped pairs).

Bell Bottoms and Flared Jeans : The Big Comeback

So many questions are asked in the fashion world. One of which is this:” Are flares and bell bottoms back in?”

The only answer is Y-E-S! This summer is the return of the flared jeans and bell bottoms in the fashion industry! They’re like phoenix being resurrected. If you ask why must it come back then here’s the answer to that : everyone got bored of skinny jeans that they want an alternative and the best choice they have is bell bottoms and flared jeans! After all it’s nice looking back at the past! This is a re-rise of the 1970’s fashion!

This bell bottom and flared jeans thing is an “in” thing for both sexes.  When one hears these trends they instantly imagine a jeans whose hem is wider then your foot is long – but this is not the appropriate style for men! But rather it is a portrait of a pair of jeans  or trousers slightly wider than a boot cut, with the hemlines redefined.

Crochet and Macrame in Fashion!

If you think crochets are just for gifts from a granny and macramé are used as rope for a ship, well think again! It is now “in” for spring 2011! With proper accessories on it, it will surely look fab! Both crochet and macrame in 2011 rode in, partially, on the wave of a 1970s revival. This was reflected in the colour palette dominating the spring / summer 2011 runways: earthy tones, browns and oranges, creams and whites. Pieces are based on hippy, festival chic inspirations, but overall the aesthetic is still luxurious with a modern sense of refinement.
Accessorize it and it will show what glamour means. Woven shoes (like those at Prada and Gucci) are perfectly now; and even more perfectly in line with the look are the intricate sandals seen at the likes of Jen Kao and Malandrino.. And to add here’s a tip on how to accesorise it:
·        Look for pieces the end in exaggerated fringing, a la Roberto Cavalli (pictured above) for a high-impact boho luxe look.
·        Pair a crochet top or vest with an updated pair of bell bottoms and a floppy felt hat for a look that's straight out of the '70s yet oh-so-now.
·        Many a crochet bikini is available, though perhaps not the most practical garment for swimming they can work brilliantly poolside or under a pair of denim shorts in Summer.
·        Bring the tribal trend of previous seasons into 2011 with macrame pieces in earthy colours paired with tribal prints.
·        Go ultra modern and sexy with a stark, minimalist take like Julien MacDonald's white mini-hemmed crochet dress .

Lace Dress

Lace and Sheer trend are twins aren’t they? And like twins they also differ from each other! There are so many types of lace clothing as well as varieties of ways to wear it! It can be worn in ways that are simply complicated but sheik! It can be in a way of romantic but not over – girly, sensual but not over-suggestive. Bring it! Wear it! Make a statement!

Sheer Fabric stays!

If there is one thing that stayed on the hottest trends of the fashion world, it’s sheer fabric! Sheer fabric! Sheer fabric! Oh my! It has not changed it’s still sheer fabric! If you remember sheer fabric is used in so many ways in the Fall/winter 2010 and whoala Spring summer 2011! Its uses include tight sheer pieces, layers, and much the sought after delicate, none other than feminine draping!
